New Castle Camera Club was the place. Projected Competition was the event on March 10, 2011. The competition theme was “Eyes” and this image of mine took 3rd. Good deal!

My Coffee Cups

Two cups, both from now extinct Shenango China, New Castle, PA. The plain one is dated 1935.

They are classic heavy "diner" mugs, small capacity, but solid. They're all I use at home for coffee.

This time I got .312+, a hair over last time.

So, it seems to me that it won't shoot .308 as accurately as .311 when reloading.

MidwayUSA has .310 diameter bullets (7.62x39) & .311 diameter (303 caliber) bullet for me to try.

My Lee reloading manual specifies .310 but says to "Check groove diameter for proper bullet fit" --- slugging.

I have the "tools" if anyone wants to slug their MN. Only took 5 minutes.
