Tea & scones
Stopped in a nearby farm that offered tea and scones. They were soft and buttery, and raspberry jam to boot! Waiting to eat dinner after we checked into our B&B in Keld.

Kirkby Stephens tonight!
21 mile hike, 7:45 to 4:45. My feet are tired but still working. Right knee is a little tender, and I may wear my brace tomorrow. The pub for dinner is a short walk away!

Astoria Column & TEST
Gang,
Instead of using Facebook for our Coast-to-Coast hike in the U.K., I'm going to post content to my photography blog for a more narrow audience. This will enable you to get notice automatically to your email of anything that I post. Of course, I may post something here and there to Facebook.
This is a test. Please confirm that you get this.
Thanks,
Dad/Fred

PhotoJoJo lenses for the iPhone
A student told me about PhotoJoJo recently, so I checked it out at http://photojojo.com/store/. Cool! And it seems to be reasonably priced, so I bought the lens set
They hold to my iPhone via an adhesive removable magnetized ring. Lenses work pretty well, but the jury is still out. Will post pictures here.
Lost one of the little adhesive rings, but a bunch of them came with the lens set. Had to "Dremel" my iPhone case to make room for the lens attachment.
